Cashless Donations with PayPal and Thyngs
Thyngs, the mobile proximity platform, has announced the addition of PayPal to its payment options for charities taking cashless mobile donations via its platform.

Thyngs will add PayPal as a new core payment method for charities using its tap and scan cashless donation solutions on items such as collecting boxes and direct mail, and in person. The integration will streamline donation processing for Thyngs’ charity clients and give supporters additional choice and convenience when making those donations.

Thyngs is an enterprise-grade platform that enables businesses to easily create and manage proximity-based campaigns and solutions at scale. Its technology enables charities to take tap and scan mobile donations easily and cost-effectively, transforming collecting boxes, printed materials and other physical objects into secure cashless donation points, whilst also collecting Gift Aid and providing real-time performance data.

“We’re delighted to be able offer PayPal as another core payment option through our platform,” said Neil Garner, CEO of Thyngs. “It furthers our objective of providing our clients and their supporters with the best possible on-the-go donation experience, helping to make cashless donations as familiar, easy and convenient as giving with cash.”

PayPal’s technology leads the industry in payment processing options and we are pleased to offer Thyngs’ charity customers a secure and effective way to accept cashless mobile donations from their supporters.
