See Tickets takes the pain out of group purchases with PayPal
Buying tickets for a group of friends or family can be a thankless task. Getting paid back for the concert tickets you bought is at best a hassle, and at worst an embarrassment. In 2018, there has to be a better way of getting paid back that doesn’t involve collecting sort codes and account numbers, or chasing everyone to pay their share.

Today, See Tickets has become the first online business in the UK to upgrade its checkout and introduce ‘Split it with PayPal’ – an easy way to share the cost of tickets the moment you’ve paid.

Here’s how it works:

1.Order your tickets
Choose and buy tickets as usual for music, sport, theatre, festivals, comedy and more.

2.Select ‘Split it with PayPal’
On the order confirmation page, press the ‘Split it with PayPal’ button.

3.Login to PayPal
Type your username and password to access your account.

4.Share with your family and friends
Simply enter their email address or mobile number and we’ll send them instructions to pay their share. They don’t even need to have a PayPal account!

With a new year of music, sports and theatre events ahead of us, we think ‘Split it with PayPal’ couldn’t come at a better time. Especially as more than a third of Brits told us in our research that they’d rather have to cut back than chase up a small debt from their friends or family.

Rob Wilmshurst, CEO at See Tickets said: “We are always looking at ways we can make the ticket buying experience smarter and easier for our customers. As many people buy for groups of friends and family, we are happy to launch this useful feature with our long standing partner, PayPal.”
