Which is why, as the UK emerges from lockdown and businesses and consumers alike adapt to a new kind of normal, we’re proud to introduce: Forever Local. Forever Local is our brand new website connecting communities with the brilliant small businesses around them.
Created in March 2020 by iZettle, a PayPal service, Forever Local helps get independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants in front of more customers.
The site, which is easy to set-up and free to use, allows merchants to tell potential customers how they can support them right now – whether that’s through takeaways and contactless payments in-store, online or through a new home delivery service. It also allows them to show if they sell gift cards, communicate any promotional offers or explain how they’ve diversified.
It was created by our talented team over at iZettle as soon as the Covid-19 situation emerged. But, it wasn’t designed solely for these challenging times.
Forever Local is part of iZettle and PayPal’s commitment to supporting local communities for many years to come. Because without independent businesses, our high streets would look a lot different, and life would be a lot less vibrant!
