100% cashless - Nottingham Street Food Club
PayPal are working with KRCS to help support the Nottingham Street Food Club within the Intu Victoria Centre, Nottingham, which launched at the end of April 2017.

An industrial style setting with oil drum seats, long wooden tables, a red telephone box, concrete flooring and exposed pipe work gives the shopping centre unit the look of a disused warehouse.

With the mantra, ”Eat Global. Dine Local.”, the Food Club has attracted thousands of customers every weekend and consists of four food kiosks, a permanent bar, seating for 150 people as well as standing room for 30.

Every weekend (Friday to Sunday), for the next 12 months, each kiosk at the Nottingham Street Food Club will be bringing the very best street food from a roster of local independent food retailers or start-ups that rotate each weekend. The vendors will be from around the Midlands and congregate at the Pop Up venue located on the upper floor of Clocktower dining in the Intu Victoria Centre.

All food outlets and the bar use PayPal Here to take card and contactless payments enabling the Food Club to be 100% cashless

"It's a way of keeping everything organised rather than faffing about with cash," said Simba Muganiri, Nottingham Street Food Club’s operations manager when speaking to the Nottingham Post
