Welcome to the world of New Money
For many years, PayPal has been re-imagining and re-inventing money. We’ve helped shoppers swap their leather wallet for their digital one and made it possible for the world’s businesses to accept payments anytime, anywhere.
 
Today, we’re unveiling the next stage of that journey in the UK: a new brand campaign called “New Money”, which sets out our vision for the future of commerce – without a coin or note in sight.
 
New Money is a celebration of how technology can transform the financial world in the same way it has many other industries around the globe. It’s about offering faster, simpler and more inclusive ways to pay and get paid – like One Touch™, which lets you buy the things you love without having to enter a credit card number, shipping or billing address, or even type in any logins or passwords.
 
It’s about kissing goodbye to queueing at the ATM or dashing home to pick up your wallet. It’s about transferring money to a friend in a few simple taps on your phone or splitting the bill for lunch without worrying if you’ll ever get paid back.
 
New Money doesn’t have operating hours and because it’s always open, there’s plenty of time left to focus on the million other things in life. Most of all, it’s about giving everyone the choice to manage, move and spend their money online, in app, in store or anywhere else they want.
 
In 1998, PayPal created a new form of money when we helped pioneer digital payments. With New Money as our vision and driving force, we’re ready to lead the way towards a more seamless, secure and inclusive financial future for all.
